Why we are designing a website?

First we need to understand why we are designing the website? let's as you were in some store like McDonalds you will find certain kind of interior in it; so people are not coming to see the interior of McDonalds they come to eat.

However the interior is not worthless that interior serves the purpose to comfort clients optically like a carpet. That is how works with web designing.

To gain a crown by fighting is great, to reject it divine.

Do not compromise with content.

Now we know that what is the meaning of web designing. Sometimes it happens with many sites that they have not so much good design or presentation of their websites but still they are attracting tons of views; So why this is happening? the simple answer is that no one comes to your site to see your web colors or way of presentation.

They are coming to your site because they want some kind of service you are providing, So if your product or content is  good enough or useful to your viewers; But that doesn't mean that web design is worthless.

Web Design is not your product.

From the above we can consider the designing will help your viewer get to you but the ultimate work is of your content or product. Many times people will do the opposite of it; because they have lack of understanding about it.

Some people says your website is your product; it's true but not in all cases. If you are writing a blog or selling digital products like domain name; of social media then it is true.

 However big part of people who wants to go online their product is much physical and deals with actual environment.

How much effort and resource should we put?

Now the big question is how much effort is fair enough? it depends on many factors like competition in your field; Proportion of work will be carried out online; and other factors. 

As your competition is very high and product is very easy to made then you need to put so much amount of work on it like blogging; If you are blogging about mobile phones then the information available for phones is very easy to know and competition is also high so for that it requires more effort.

 On the other hand if you are exploring topic in blog which is not popular like civil engineering so with limited designing effort you can grab more views on your sound content.

Conclusion

• Thumb rule if your content is sound then less effort.
• If your competition is high more effort.
• Designing is the key to present your content.
