The question which arise if you don't know about fabric of spacetime is that what actually is fabric of space and time? Because when we heard this term it develops imagination of things which are very fascinating to us and sometimes this term is assumed to me more than what it really is. If you see movies related to this they have illustrated this concept very attractively but they are not that special let me give you an example in movies they have shown it in such a way that people think of it as an magic. And let me tell you this " science is not magic"
Name of this guy is Alber Einstein. He proposed the theory of special relativity in 1905, which stated that we live in four dimensional world and he called it spacetime. That concept was revolutionize how we see the universe because in 19th century Newtonian physics was dominated and we can say that still it is in which there are only 3 dimensions length width and height.
Einstein says that space and time are not diffrent but it's a same system if you disturb one other will also be distributed like gravity, he stated that gravity bends space and time and it proposed the idea of time dilation which is confirmed with space exploration by NASA. In his theory he has suggested many things which are not yet confirmed but we hope that in future we find it true.
So the fabric of spacetime is not an fabric which is physically evident but it is beyond physics yet it is the foundation to make physics.
